How to Accurately Find Replacement Bearing
Question:
I have an older trailer and to the best of my skills the bearing spindle seems to measure 15/16 of an inch. Otherwise the hub seems to be standard: 4 on 4inch bolted to a 12inch wheel. Will the L44643 bearing fit?

There is no way to know for sure with a measurement of 15/16 of an inch what the correct bearing is. The only way to know the correct bearing is to use a digital caliper and measure your spindle to the thousandths of an inch where the bearing rides.
The reason for that is because the measurements of some bearings are so similar; bearing # 1779 has a 0.938 inch inner diameter, bearing # L44643 has a 1.00 inch inner diameter and bearing # L44649 has a 1.063" inner diameter.
