How to Determine if 2017 GMC Canyon has Adaptive Cruise Control for Base Plate Kit
Question:
what is adaptive cruise control, and how do i know if i have it? thx
asked by: Ben B
Expert Reply:
Adaptive cruise control will automatically adjust the speed of your vehicle so that you maintain a safe distance between the vehicles in front of you. If you look at the cruise control controls on your truck you should see a button on the top right that looks like two cars almost hitting each other with a star above them. That means you have the adaptive cruise control.
The Demco base plate kit # DM9519319 that you referenced does not fit if you have the adaptive cruise control, but we do have the Blue Ox kit part # BLU93FR which does fit with the adaptive cruise.
