Troubleshooting USB Ports on Diamond Charging Station DG61023VP
Question:
The 12V plug works OK, however neither of the USB sockets have power. Is there a fuse?

The Diamond Charging Station # DG61023VP does not include a fuse so both the 12V output and the dual 2.1-amp USB outputs should be active so long as you make their separate power connections on the back of the part. The USB ports use red (+) and black (ground) pigtail power leads that need to be connected to your power source. These connections are separate from those for the 12V cigarette type outlet.
My tech contact at Diamond Group mentioned that sometimes aftermarket charging cords, such as what you might find at a grocery store checkout counter, will not fit well inside the USB receptacles and will give the impression that the Charging Station's USB ports are not working. If you have the original charging cable for your device try that as they have found it often corrects issues like this.
