Could Feedback Sports Bike Storage Rack Be Used with Subfloor
Question:
Can the Gear Up BUA Aluminum Floor-to-Ceiling Bike Storage Rack be braced on the ceiling end against the planks of wooden subfloor thats nailed across supporting beams, or does it have to be braced to the beams? I ask because Im looking to install it in an apartment building storage locker where the ceiling is unfinished, with open beams and with that subfloor underneath the first floor unit bridging the space it would be in a much better position against the subfloor than against one of the beams which would leave it jutting out quite a way into the unit.

Subfloor between joists would work just fine for the Feedback Sports Velo Column Bike Storage Rack - Floor to Ceiling Mount - Black - 2 Bikes # 301-16835 that you referenced. Subfloor is normally 3/4 inch OSB which is plenty sturdy for the short run between joists.
