Do Different Vehicle Manufacturers Use Different Trailer Wiring Setups
Question:
Hi, I have an older trailer that is wired for a chevy, but I now have a Jeep with a factory tow package and I’m wondering if the wiring will work? If not is there a connector I can purchase?

Trailer wiring setups are not vehicle brand specific. The good news is that all vehicle manufacturers basically wire their vehicles to fit the same industry standard trailer wiring setups so you would not need any type of adapter to tow a trailer with a Jeep that was once towed by a Chevy.
