Recommended V-Nose Cargo Trailer Cover for Winter Storage

Question:

I have a V nose cargo trailer. The box of it is 14 feet long and 7 feet wide and from the front of the box to the nose of the trailer it is another 3 feetv nose section of trailer. For a total of 17foot in length x 7plus wheel wells in width. I see that you have answered similar questions for different size cargo trailers for other people. But, I have a concern that too much fabric of a slightly oversized coverintended for a horse trailer would cause billowing during cold Michigan winter. Is the a size or type of cover that you recommend?

Being a Kalamazoo/Portage native, I understand the cold and windy Michigan winters you are concerned about. I recommend the Adco SFS AquaShed Cover for Bumper Pull Horse Trailer - 18' Long # 290-46005 for your V-nose cargo trailer. This cover has a triple layer top panel for the water, sleet, snow and ice. It will protect from water and stay breathable so you won't have mildew problems. It has reinforced buckles and straps in the front, rear, and bottom to prevent billowing and remove slack. It comes with a 2 year warranty to assist.

I also recommend getting wheel covers like the Adco Ultra Tyre Gard RV Wheel Covers - Single Axle - 27" to 29" - Vinyl - Black - Qty 2 # 290-3973 or 24-26 inch # 290-3974. You will need two sets, but they will help protect your tires from UV rays while storing your trailer for the long winter months.
