Recommended Suspension Enhancement for 2008 Toyota Sequoia with Integrated Auto Leveling System
Question:
Hello, my ‘08 Toyota Sequoia has an auto leveling system but I want to add a heavy bumper, winch, etc to overland and would like to upgrade my shocks/struts/springs but can’t find any that don’t say “won’t work with auto leveling system”. Can you help or have any advice?

Expert Reply:
For your 2008 Toyota Sequoia with auto leveling system, the air spring kits will not fit because they require the same location as your auto leveling system. I do however have a solution to help you with the load when adding the bumper and winch and that is the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System # TTORSEQ1. This system will not interfere with your auto leveling, but will replace your factory bump stops. They simply are mounted to the bump stop location and will provide additional support under the load so your factory system doesn't take the toll.
It will help compensate for off-center loads and reduce body roll. It will take the brunt of the road shock and extend the life of your factory system.
