I have a Demco Autoslider 18K hitch, do I need an adapter for this

A Demco Hijacker Autoslide fifth wheel hitch would not need an adapter to connect to a Lippert 1621 pin box. But if you were instead referring to the 5th Airborne cushioned pin box like the part # RP78FR that you referenced you would need the Demco Hijacker Autoslide Locking Plate # DM6062.
