Does Thule Motion XT Cargo Box Fit Factory Crossbars of 2017 Ford Expedition EL

Question:

I am looking at the Thule Motion XT XXL and I’m confused on whether I need the Thule roof racks? I do have the factory OEM crossbars. The only thing which will go in the cargo box will be my daughters stroller on road trips. It is an adaptive stroller, so much larger than a “typical” stroller for a small child. So, the box will not be supporting a ton of weight, so can the Thule work with the factory crossbars? Sure would save a few bucks for just the few times a year we would use the box. Thanks.

I checked with Thule and the Motion XT Cargo Box part # TH629907 that you referenced is a confirmed fit for the factory crossbars of your 2017 Ford Expedition EL so it would be a great option for you. The internal dimensions of this box are 84-1/2" long x 33" wide x 16" tall.
