Availability of Replacement Doors for a 1980 Jeep CJ-5
Question:
My fiance has a jeep that has no doors on it. I showed him these half doors and our question is what about the top half of the door? Where do we get a full door or the other half? We have no door frame at all.Sorry if I sound stupid about this but he is in Afghanistan and I am trying to get some things for his 1980 CJ5 Jeep that he just bought so that he can fix it up when he gets back. Thanks for your help!

Bestop is the original manufacturer of Jeep tops, doors, and other parts and are the OEM supplier for aftermarket parts for the model years that they were not producing the parts directly for Jeep. So if they do not have any other door options, you may have to look at a Jeep accessories site to see if there is anything that will fit. Bestop currently only lists the lower doors, # B5302701, for the 1980 CJ-5.
One option would be to get a replacement top that includes soft doors like the Tiger Top, # B5140701. I have included a link to the installation details for you. You could also use the Supertop, # B5159715. I have included installation details for this top as well.
