Snow Cable Chain Recommendation for 2017 Ram 2500 with Tire Size 285/60R20

I have a 2017 Ram 2500 with 285/60/20 tires. Is it recommended to use only chains or are cables acceptable?

I pulled up the owners manual of your 2017 Ram 2500 and found the chart on tire chain recommendations and could not find the size you listed of 285/60R20. Typically this would mean that chains aren't recommended for that size but I'd recommend you check with a Ram dealer to verify this.

Most likely the only way will be with low clearance Class S compatible tire chains like the Titan cables part # TC3029 which don't require as much clearance to install.
