Fender Compatibility with Dual Axle Trailer Suspension

Question:

I just had my 6x12 enclosed dual axle trailer fenders replaced from 10 to 9. Can you tell me if that is safe and legal!

If I understand what you are asking, it sounds like you replaced your trailer fenders with a smaller fender giving you less clearance from your trailer tires. Trailer suspension normally needs 3-4 inches of deflection (vertical movement) to operate as intended under load, so I recommend checking your measurements to make sure you don't have any issues with tires coming in contact with the fenders. If you can enough clearance under load then it is safe and legal.

We don't carry any dual axle fenders, but I've linked the page to all our fender options to assist.
