Blue Power Wire Location on a Chevrolet/GMC 1999-2006 Pickup
Question:
How do I get that blue wire power it is already ran to the 7 wire plug in the back of the truck it just has no connection to a power source. It has a female plug end on it.

The blue wire that you are referencing in the attached picture should already be existing next to the fuse block on the cab side of your pickup.
This picture actually comes from the helpful article on how to install a brake controller for a Chevrolet/GMC 1999-2006 Pickup and it is under the instructions for if your vehicle does not have a 7-Way connector. If this is the case then we recommend installing the Universal Installation Kit # ETBC7 which has the ring terminals, circuit breakers, wiring, and connectors needed to complete the installation.
