The most important thing to consider when picking out a weight distribution system is the tongue weight of the trailer when loaded. I attached an FAQ article on weight distribution hitches that describes how to determine tongue weight of a trailer for you to check out.

Most of the time tongue weight is between 10 and 15 percent of the gross trailer weight of the trailer. So a 1,200 lb tongue weight-12,000 lb weight distribution system like the Reese Steadi-Flex Weight Distribution System with Sway Control # RP66560 work for you. But you still should determine the tongue weight of your trailer to be sure. If you find that you have tongue weight near 1,500 lbs I would recommend the Strait-Line Weight Distribution w Sway Control # RP66130. With this kit you will need to purchase the shank separately, you would want a Reese Weight Dist Shank # RP54970.

However, if you want the ultimate in sway control I would recommend a dual-cam sway control system. For that I would recommend the # RP54970 that I referenced earlier. Dual cam sway control systems are the only proactive sway control system that works to prevent sway before it starts. Check out the FAQ on weight distribution to see more information on this system.
