Can Cargo Carrier Legally Obstruct View of License Plate?
Question:
can the carrier be legally used when it covers the rear license plate as shown in several of the in use pictures? especially apparent when the license plate is located in the rear bumper.

A cargo carrier like the Viking Solutions Tilt-N-Go II Hauler and Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches # 310-VTG002 can be used in most states even when the license plate is covered by the unit. Some states require relocation of the license plate if the plate is not visible so you will need to check with the local DMV as the laws do vary from state to state.
You can add a license plate bracket to the carrier like # CR79150 if needed.
