Can Motor for Rear Ground Control 3.0 Jack be Rotated to Avoid Contact with Slide on Jayco Eagle
Question:
Hello, I just purchased this Ground control 3.0 four point for my 08 30foot jayco eagle 299 RLS. I ran into a situation on my left rear mounting position I have a 14foot slide with the scissor arm that unfolds as the slide comes out. In order for me to mount this jack evenly from the right side is to mount bracket in the area where the arm extends out and the issue is the top of motor would come in contact with arm of the slide when it unfolds. Now, Is it ok to detach motor and turn it 180 and remount this way it would be clear of the slide scizzor arm. Thanks

That is an interesting question that I think would work but when I spoke with my contact at Lippert he said that he can't really recommend doing that as it may mess with some internal components on your Lippert Ground Control 3.0 # LC358590 jack.
Instead what you can try doing is simply swapping out your rear jacks so that the motor for your left rear location will be oriented as you referenced. My contact at Lippert said that this should work you will just need to keep track of how to connect the jacks since they will be in different locations.
