2016 Toyota 4Runner with OEM Crossbars Fit with Rooftop Cargo Basket
Question:
Just wondering if you can confirm if the Curt extended length roof mounted cargo rack will fit on the OEM crossbars of a 2016 4Runner SR5? I see the review video you did on a 2012 4Runner has aftermarket crossbars on the factory rails it looks like. Thank you!

The Curt Roof Mounted Cargo Basket # C18115-117 will work well on the factory crossbars of your 2016 Toyota 4Runner as long as the crossbars are not more than 3 inches wide. The crossbars must be spaced 22-50 inches on center for the correct support and connection location.
If your crossbars are wider, you may want to consider the Thule Roof Cargo Basket - Steel - 49" x 40" x 6" - 150 lbs
Item # TH859XT and # TH8591XT which will fit an assortment of bar sizes. This basket fits a crossbar spread or 20" to 37". It offers a 20" extension in part # TH8591XT and optional locks in part # TH450400.
