Can the RM-790 diode be used for aftermarket LED headlight install to prevent backfired to the electrical system?

Diodes like the Roadmaster Hy-Power Diode # RM-790 can be used for a wide variety of applications! If your LED headlights are going to be receiving power from 2 sources then use the part # RM-790 that you referenced. If they will only be receiving power from one source you will want to use part # RM-690 instead.
