Can CE Smith U-Bolt Spare Tire Carrier Hold Tire Below Trailer Tongue
Question:
Can this spare tire frame holder work with the tire mounted on the bottom of the tongue? Pictures show it mounted on the top.

Yes, you can use the CE Smith Spare Tire Carrier # CE22007Z-11050-2 that you referenced facing down so that the tire mounts to the underside of your trailer tongue. The U-bolt is plenty strong enough to support the weight of the tire in this orientation as well. Just make sure you have the needed ground clearance for this position to work on your trailer.
