Can I Use Airbags on my 2015 Ram 1500 with Lift Kit
Question:
We are looking for a air bag setup for our truck to provide additional support in the rear when towing. The truck is a 2015 Dodge 1500 4wd with a 6inch lift in the front and 4inch lift in the rear. Is there a kit that will work with the lift truck? Most Im find will only work with a standard height truck. Mahalo-

The airbag kit I recommend for your 2015 Ram 1500 is the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs part # AL57365. This kit will provide support while towing and work to help preserve the life of your existing suspension components. In order to then make this kit compatible with the 4" rear lift kit you are going to need a spacer. In most cases, you just need to match the height of the spacer to the height of the suspension lift, not body lift. If the suspension has been raised 4" in the rear then you will more than like also need the Lift Spacers for Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F2371. Once you install the upper and lower brackets on the kit you will need to measure the distance between them. If it is 9.5" and 10.5" then the 4" spacer is correct for you but if not let me know what you have.
If you are looking to adjust the air pressure inside the bags on the fly then I recommend taking a look at the Firestone Air Command I part # F2097 which comes with a manual inflation valve, heavy duty compressor, and everything else you need for installation.

I have a 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 with the same problem. The only difference is mine has a 6” lift all around. What do you recommend?
