How to Pick Out Slide Out Awning for Camper Based on Box Width Range
Question:
I have a 233RBS with a 97inch slide. For a previous question regarding this model, you recommended a 104inch slide awning, but per website instructions it says to measure your slide flange edge to flange edge and add 5 inch for overlap. That would be 102. Which is the correct size I should order?

Picking out the correct slide topper for an awning does get confusing but Solera has told us that the way to do it is to measure the width of the slide out including the flange that goes around the outside and with that dimension find the awning that has a width range that fits the dimension. So the part # LCV000163291 that you referenced has a box width range of 104 inch to 109-3/4 inch so if your width falls in that range you'd be good. If you have a different dimension let me know and I'll help you pick out what you need.
I also attached a page that has all of the slide out awnings we carry as well.
