Will Torflex Lift Kit # K71-707-01 Fit Trailer with 3,500 lb Torflex Axle
Question:
Hi there, I have an aluminum trailer with a 3,500lb single Dexter Torflex axle that I need to raise for more clearance. The axle is mounted to my trailer in a top mount configuration with bolts placed vertically through the axle and trailer frame, but all the kits Ive been able to find only work in the side mount configuration. Would I be able to use K71-707-01 if I drill additional top mount holes in the spacer to secure the lift bracket to the trailer frame in the same fashion that my axle is currently secured, and then bolt the axle to the bottom holes to keep the top mount configuration? Or is there a better option I should look at? Many thanks,

I attached a picture that shows the Torflex lift kit part # K71-707-01 that you mentioned installed on a trailer like yours that uses the same attachment style. Basically the spacer would just install between the axle and the frame just like what you see in the first picture.
