Troubleshooting Left Turn Signal Cancels when Brakes Are Applied
Question:
When the vehicle brakes are applied, the left turn signal cancels. The right signal works fine with brakes applied.. With ignition power off, everything works properly. With ignition power on, same left turn signal issue.. Any ideas!

Since you are getting all the functions on your Standard Trailer Light Kit with 25' Wire Harness # TL29BK, it sounds like you simply have a bad ground connection on that left tail light. The fact that you have the correct functions until that point shows you have a connection issue. This could be at the trailer connection on the back of the vehicle, so I recommend checking that first with a circuit tester like # PTW2993.
Then if the vehicle wiring is functional, you can check the trailer ground connection at that tail light that is through the mounting hardware. That connection needs to be bare metal to metal and free of all rust, corrosion, and debris.
