Will the CURT Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Hitch Adapter Work with a Bedliner on a 2011 Ford F-350

Question:

I have a q5 20k hitch. Im buying a new F350 and was going to install a goose neck Curt dubble lock to save bed room insted of the rail in there all the time. Wondered if the spray in liner would not allow the adaptor plate to mount and lock in?

I spoke with my technical contact at CURT Mfg. and he said that they have had no complaints about using the CURT X-5 Gooseneck-to-5th-Wheel Hitch Adapter Plate, # C16210, along with the CURT Double Lock Gooseneck Hitch on the 2011 Ford F-350. He also stated that the hitch and adapter plate have built in tolerance so they will work with spray in bed liners.

On trucks with plastic drop in bed liners, the bed liner must be trimmed for use of the X-5 adapter.
