Installation of the Hide-A-Goose Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch, part # 9464-35, will require using a hole saw to drill into the bed of your Dodge Ram pickup. You will need to measure, mark, and drill a quarter inch hole, then use a hole saw to cut the hole out for the gooseneck ball.

If you have a 6 foot bed, you will measure 44 inches from the rear edge of the truck bed and centered between the wheel wells.

If you have an 8 foot bed, you will measure 46 inches from the rear edge of the truck bed and centered between the wheel wells.

In addition to the hole for the Gooseneck ball, you will also need to drill holes for the safety chain loops.

I have linked a video installation and instructions for the Hide-A-Goose Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch, part # 9464-35. Checkout time frame 1 minute 40 seconds into the video as it shows how to measure. Also linked is an FAQ on Gooseneck trailers hitches.
