Can Tonneau Cover From 2009 Silverado Work on 2014 Ram Truck

Question:

Guys My cover is in great condition. I removed it from my 2009 Silverado crew cab and installed it on my 2014 crew cab Ram with a 6.5 bed. I am 6 - 8inch short to the cab. . Do you make any thing I could fill the gap with? My wife makes and repalrs these canvas tops. Could I purchase some longer side rails or extender pieces. If not how much is a replacement cover to fit my truck?

Unfortunately, we do not currently have any pieces available that would bridge the gap you have after installing the tonneau from your Silverado to your 2014 Ram.

We do have full replacement tarps available, but keep in mind that they are specific not only to the truck but to the mounting brackets and original hardware. Even if a particular replacement tarp is designed for your 2014 Ram it may not install correctly if you have hardware from a different model tonneau cover.

If you can tell me what model tonneau cover you currently have I will be happy to see if a replacement tarp might work. Your best option though will be to simply go with an entirely new tonneau cover that is designed for your Ram. For your 6-1/2 foot bed I recommend taking a look at the TruXedo TruXport Soft Roll-Up Tonneau Cover # TX246901 as long as you don't have the RamBoxes. This comes with all the needed hardware to install and it will work perfectly on your truck.
