Will the Timbren Suspension Enhancement System Work with a 4,000 Lb Trailer on a 2016 GMC Canyon

Question:

Hi my GMC Canyon diesel 2016 is rated to pull 7,600 lbs. The trailer I haul makes it sink pretty low. It appears theres a max 3,600 lbs on this part your selling that I was looking at. I assume it wont work for me, right? Since my trailer is sometimes around 4,000 + lbs. Thanks for getting back to me.

The Timbren Suspension Enhancement System part # TGMRCCA is actually the perfect option to help with the sag on your 2016 GMC Canyon while towing. The 3,600 lb capacity of the enhancements does not need to exceed the total weight of your trailer, just the tongue weight as that is the only part of the trailer that is physically pushing down on the vehicle. Therefore, you will have plenty of capacity using the Timbren Suspension Enhancement System with your 4,000 lb trailer.

The Timbren Suspension Enhancement System is one of the most popular upgrades for a tow vehicle by far. We sell tons of them and they work really well. The are very easy to install because it is usually only one bolt on either side and they only engage while the vehicle is loaded so the ride quality won't be affected while unloaded.
