The Thule Platform OutWay Trunk Mount Bike Rack, # TH65JV, and a host of other trunk mount bike racks will fit the 2007 Nissan Sentra. But, there are no trunk mount bike racks that will fit the 2008 Honda Odyssey because there are not enough safe attachment points on the van for a trunk mount bike rack.

Sine you are looking for something that will fit both vehicles, the best option is going to be to equip trailer hitches on both vehicles and use a hitch mount bike rack.

Starting with the Nissan, I recommend Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, # 24794. This is the most economical hitch for the Sentra because it does not come with a ball mount. Since you would be using it for a bike rack, a ball mount will not be needed. I have included a link to the installation instructions and a link to a video showing a typical installation.

For the 2008 Honda Odyssey, i would stick with Draw-Tite and go with # 36417. I have included links to the installation details and a video showing a typical installation for you.

For a bike rack, I recommend the Swagman Trailhead, # S63360, because it will fit the Class I hitch on the Sentra and the Class II hitch on the Odyssey. This rack features anti-sway cradles and the ability to tilt down to allow greater access to the rear of the vehicles. I have included a link to the installation details for you.

Adding trailer hitches to the vehicles has other advantages. You never know when you may need to tow something. There are also other accessories you can place in the receiver such as cargo carriers.
