Replacing 4-Way Female to 5-Way Male Wiring Loop
Question:
I have a wire harness that I need to replace on a 2006 Four Winns trailer. Its Wesbar brand 8foot long wire with a connector on each end. On one end, the one that connects to the trailer, has a female 4-pole connector with white, yellow, green and brown color wires. On the other end, that connects to the vehicle, has a male 5-pole connector with white, yellow, green, brown and blue color wires. The blue wire is only a couple feet long with female connector at the end, it connects to e blue wire with a male connector coming from the breaks actuator looks like. Do you have such a replacement wire harness? I havent been able to find one online with this configuration and wire lengths.

I do have a solution for you, however the female 4-Way to male 5-Way loop that you have is no longer available. Instead of using another adapter like this one your best option will be to actually cut off the 4-Way connector from the trailer and splice in a 5-Way like the Hopkins # HM47913 in its place. The blue wire from the 5-Way will go to the blue wire that you mentioned coming from the actuator. With this in place on the trailer you will be able to connect directly to the 5-Way on the vehicle without having to mess with a separate adapter harness every time you tow.
I have attached a short video demonstration on this connector that you can also check out.
