What is Amperage Draw of Dutton-Lainson StrongArm Electric Winch # DL25500
Question:
I know it draws a lot of juice - is it near 70 amp? Using this for my boat on a very shallow water launch - Is there any kind of fuse or circuit breaker built in, or if not recommended? Loading is only half of the problem - is there a way to set this up to aid launching in shallow/incline?

Helpful Expert Reply:
At full capacity the Dutton-Lainson StrongArm Electric Winch # DL25500 that you referenced will draw 70 amps. The power wire has breakers built into it actually. The white rectangles you see on the terminal in the picture I attached are them.
The winch can feed out as well as in. That's really as much as a winch can help in a boat launching situation.
