If Model 6 Surge-O-Matic is Leaking Fluid Near Coupler Does Master Cylinder Need to be Replaced
Question:
Hello, My boat trailer was manufactured by J.Q. Texas, Inc. In 2003. I have the surge o matic model 6 and is leaking fluid. It is hard to see in the provided pictures but is leaking on both sides. Should I just replace the master cylinder assembly T1777405? I have disc brakes.

It very well could be the master cylinder assembly. To replace the master cylinder on your Surge-O-Matic Model 6 you would need the part # T1777405.
Before replacing the unit though I would try taking your actuator apart to make sure that all of the connections are secure. It could be that the connections aren't quite secure which would result in all of the fluid you are seeing.
