Will the Lippert Trailer Shocks Fit a 2,700 Lb Axle with 2-3/8 Inch Diameter
Question:
I am wanting to add shocks to our camper, but our camper has a 2700# axle under it. I used a string and go an axle diameter of 2 3/8. Are 2700# and 3500# axles normally the same diameter, or did I measure wrong? Thanks

It is very possible for both a 2,700 lb and 3,500 lb trailer axle to have a 2-3/8" diameter axle. If you have a 2-3/8" diameter axle then you can use the Lippert Components Bolt-On Shock Kit part # LC281255. The description states for 3,500 lb axles but that is just because they generally have a 2-3/8" diameter. There will not be any issues with your 2,700 lb axle. These shocks will do a great job of improving the ride quality of your trailer. They are also very easy to install as you can see from the attached install instructions.
