Ball Mount for Towing and Carrying GearDeck 17 Enclosed Cargo Carrier

Hello, I am looking to tow 2 items behind my truck on a 2 inch double hitch. A double jet ski trailer with 2 skis on it, and a Thule Transporter Combi Hitch Mounted Enclosed Cargo Carrier - Tilting. I see you have a double hitch available. Looks like the top hitch is only for accessories like a bike rack. Will the Thule be too heavy? Recommendations? Thanks

The best option is not a dual-hitch adapter because that will reduce the tongue weight of your hitch by 50 percent, severely limiting your capacity.

Instead, I recommend the MaxxTow Ball Mount w/ 2" Accessory Receiver # MT70066 which has a 2" receiver so you can haul your GearDeck 17 Enclosed Cargo Carrier # H00604 as well as a ball mount platform so you can use a hitch ball with a 1" shank like 2" ball # 40038 or 1-7/8" ball # 19260.

This mount has a 5,000 lb capacity and 500 lb tongue weight capacity; is has 2-1/4" of drop as well.
