Do Hangers Have a Specific Width They Should Be
Question:
My GD Reflection 337RLS has double eye leaf springs which are 1 3/4 wide. The hangers are 2 wide. Manufacture squeezes the hanger to tighten the fit to 1 3/4. Is this correct? Should I replace the wet bolt with a 3, has 2 3/4 now and install spacers? This install by GD looks terrible and Im thinking putting stress on the weld. Is there a adapter kit? thank you,

Although I wouldn't be able to give you the specs for what should be on a Grand Design (that's something only the manufacturer can tell you) I can tell you hangers which fit 1-3/4" leaf springs have an inner width that is close to 1-3/4" such as # 115917 which has a 1-13/16" inner width.
There is not an adapter kit but if you are uncomfortable with the hanger and particularly the weld you can replace them with a new Hanger Kit such as # APT5 which uses 3-3/4"" tall hangers with 3" long x 9/16" diameter shackle bolts. Of course, this would require removal of your old hangers and having new ones welded on.
