We don't ever recommend exceeding the weight capacity of a fifth wheel hitch with the weight of a trailer. You'd want to go with a higher rated fifth wheel hitch like the Reese Select Plus part # RP30081 that you referenced which has a 20k capacity. I really like this hitch too because of how well the jaws hold the king pin of the trailer. This prevents movement or chucking unlike other hitches that have more play there.
