Can Swagman XC 2-Bike Rack Be Used Behind 44 Foot RV

All your reviews are usually behind cars, what about behind a 44 ft RV? Don’t want to worry about losing bikes. Is it reliable behind an RV that bounces down the road?

You are right to be concerned about the extra bounce and movement that a bike rack has to withstand when mounted behind an RV as compared to that of a standard passenger vehicle. Because of this only certain hitch-mounted bike racks are actually tested and rated for this use.

The good news though is that the Swagman XC 2-Bike Rack # S64650 that you referenced is indeed approved for use behind an RV like yours. This is a sturdy, platform-style carrier that can handle 2 bikes of up to 35 pounds each and it will work great on your 44 foot RV. I do recommend adding the Lock Set # S64031 to secure everything into place and help deter theft.
