Distance Between Supports on Surco 2 Bike Carrier for Vans and RVs
Question:
Hello, I am considering this bike rack for our new fifth wheel 2018 319RKT by Prime Time. Looks like it will do the job nicely but we have two Townie bikes that are not as slim as many of the go-fast bikes popular today. So Im hoping you can give me the dimensions in yellow on the attached photo. I would like to know how far from the vertical supports is the first set of mounting lugs and the distance from there to the second set. And is the position of these lugs adjustable? I am a parts guy too so I know sometimes exact data may not be available any information you can provide is appreciated. Thanks

I went out to our warehouse to take the measurements you wanted for the Surco 2 Bike Carrier for Vans and RVs # SP501BR and found the distance between the vertical support to the middle of the first set of cradles (lugs) is approximately 5-1/8" while the distance between those cradles to the middle of the second set of cradles is approximately 8-5/16" as you can see in the accompanying photo.
These cradles are adjustable so you can move them should you need to.
