Does Factory Grille on a 2005 Lincoln Navigator have to be Removed to Install a Putco Grille Insert

Question:

Description says it fits over grile. I see 5 bolts that hold my grile to the hood. I assume I remove these and place in new web grile. I just want to know if I have that correct. Thanks. 2005 Lincoln navigator.

Actually, to install the Putco Liquid Spiderweb Grille Insert, # P303117, on your 2005 Lincoln Navigator, you do not have to remove the grille at all. If you wanted more room to work when installing the insert, I suppose you could remove the grille, attach the insert, and then reinstall the grille, but it is not required for installation.
