Airbags Not Level on the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs Part # F2600

Question:

On the passenger side of my 2107 F-250 the bag is at angle on the mounts- not straight down on leaf springs. Any recommendations on adjusting?

The Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F2600 which is a confirmed fit for your 2017 Ford F-250 comes with parts for installation on both single rear wheel and dual rear wheels models in addition to those that have and do not have an overload spring. For example, the kit comes with two shims, one long and one short. The long shim is for trucks with single rear wheels and the short shim is for trucks with dual rear wheels. I would first start off my making sure you are using the correct shims/bolts which you can see in the attached photo.

Once you have checked that you are using the correct parts you are going to want to remove the airbag and then loosen the bolts and nuts that attach the lower bracket. Once done so you will then need to shift the lower bracket until level with the upper brackets. You can then slowly tighten each side while using a level to make sure nothing moves. This should straighten the bracket up so the airbag sits flush.
