Tilting Hitch-Mounted Bike Rack to Clear Tailgate on 2018 Ford F-250

The Swagman Titan 2 Bike Rack # S63400 referenced in your question does have a tilting feature that allows for easy rear cargo access on a vehicle. We have not tested this particular rack on the 2018 Ford F-250 so I cannot be certain that the tailgate will clear the rack when it's folded. With that being said we have used the rack on similar trucks without any clearance issues with the tailgate. I have attached a video demonstration on this that you can check out as well.

For a hanging-style rack that is able to tilt even more, I recommend taking a look at the Thule Hitching Post Pro # TH934XTR. We did test this rack on the 2017 model F-250 and found that it worked perfectly with the tailgate open (see attached picture). This rack can secure 4 bikes of up to 35 pounds and features a built-in anti-rattle bolt that will reduce vibration and noise inside the hitch receiver.
