Troubleshooting 20 Year Old Trailer Tires Not Staying on Wheel
Question:
My small trailer tires keep blowing off the rims. They are original tires about 1998. I only put about 35 to 40 pounds air pressure in them. Could this be the issue or something else?

Trailer tires really need to be replaced at 6 years of age. Your tires being 20 years old is going to be a huge problem. If the size you need is 4.80/4.00-8 like the part # AM10004 you referenced this would be a great option as a replacement. If you have a different size let me know. You also need to be sure to keep the tires inflated to their max psi at all times too.
