Outlet Pipe Diameter of MagnaFlow Muffler # 12580
Question:
I have a 2005 Toyota Tundra 4.7 v8 with a Magnaflow 12580 muffler on it. The muffler is a little bit too loud for me at 2000 RPM. Im going to add an extra resonator like the vibrant Style resonator. My question is ... what size resonator do I buy the 2.5 or the 2.25 Thanks

Expert Reply:
The outside diameter of the outlet pipes on the Magnaflow Muffler part # MF12580 is 2-1/4 inches. So if you were planning on fitting a resonator to this muffler directly you'd need a pipe with an inside diameter of 2-1/4 inches.
