How Does Brake Controller Install on 2007 Chevy Avalanche

Question:

I have a 2007 Avalanche with a towing package. I do not see the wires anywhere underneath to wire the brake controller. I do see an empty bay with 6 prongs in the circuitinch box to the left underneath. Would the harness connector just plug into that empty slot??

Your 2007 Chevy Avalanche only would have came from the factory one way, with the brake controller install wiring under the dash. The easiest way for me to show you where it would be would be to have you check out the install video I attached to this page that shows a brake controller installed in a similar 2013 Avalanche. You'll see where to find the brake controller install wiring under the dash.
