Does Wire Run to Top Terminal of Trombetta Solenoid Switch

Question:

I have a 1998 Glendale Golden Falcon 29RG 5th wheel, with a hydraulic 14 ft. Slide out. The original solenoid failed and burnt up most of the control wiring. I have 2 slideout contol switches inside and outside and I think they are wired correctly. The original dual polarity switch was mounted to a copper bar from the motor to the chassis. The trombetta switch calls for 2 wires forward and reverse but the only terminal that I can find is the one that is attached to the copper bar. What am I missing?

It does look like you are missing a wire connection on your solenoid. I attached a picture that shows a wire lead ran to the same terminal you just have rans with that copper bar. I believe that's the missing connection you need to make.
