Why Would One Spring Bar Be More Difficult to Connect than Other on Weight Distribution
Question:
In the spring I purchased a new TT and had my dealer install a Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System w/ 4-Point Sway Control. After some minor adjustments it seems to working as designed. My question is this. Why is the passenger side trunion bar easier to install on the bracket than the drivers side bar? Im talking about where the bar rests on the TT, not the hitch end. Its as if the drivers side is a little higher than the passenger side. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Assuming you are using the exact same adjustment for both sides of the trailer if one of the bars is easier or harder to install than the other that would most likely imply that one side of the trailer weighs more than the other or the trailer isn't sitting level left to right. I would recommend measuring from the top of the fender to the ground on either side of the trailer and compare the measurements to see if they are the same if not that would explain why one bar is easier to connect that the other.
