Will Yakima SprocketRocket Fit Factory Crossbars on 2018 Toyota Highlander

I have factory aero crossbars on a 2018 toyota highlander. I also have a yakima sporcket rocket bike rack. Can i use this to mount the bike rack on the aero bars?

The Replacement Hardware Kit # Y8820147 you referenced will not allow you to use your Yakima SprocketRocket bike rack on the factory crossbars of your 2018 Toyota Highlander. I checked with Yakima and this bike rack will not fit on factory roof racks because they have tested factory crossbars and found them not to be strong enough to handle the stress that a fork-mount bike rack generates.

For a bike rack that will work with your '18 Highlander's factory crossbars I recommend checking out the Yakima FrontLoader # Y02103, which is a wheel mount carrier that offers convenience because you won't have to remove your front wheel and also keeps your bike looking like new because there is no contact with its frame.

The FrontLoader works with bikes that have between 20" and 29" wheels, tires up to 3" wide and weigh up to 40 lbs. You can also lock your bikes to the rack and the rack to your crossbars by adding Lock Cores # Y07202.
