Recommended Suspension Enhancement for 2018 Chevy Silverado 3500HD Dually
Question:
Hello, Will these fit on a 2018 Chevy 3500HD with a Pullrite 20k hitch installed? My 5th wheel is 16500 GVW and the truck only sags a little bit when hooked up - will these eliminate the sag, level the truck, and provide a smoother ride when towing this trailer? Not sure of the exact amount of sagging. Would I be better off going with an air ride enhancement? Everyone seems to love these from the reviews I read. Thank you!

Though the Timbren # TGMRTT35D will fit your 2018 Chevy Silverado 3500 dually, they are rubber jounce springs designed for service vehicles such as tow trucks and they will not provide you with a smoother ride but instead will give your truck a much more rigid ride.
Your best option, as you noted, are to use air helper springs, and I recommend the Firestone Ride-Rite # F2613. You are correct about the reviews as they are very, very popular. These air springs will accomplish everything you are looking for - help reduce sag, keep you level as well as give you a smoother ride.
These air bags can be adjusted from 5 psi to 100 psi manually, though you can also use the Firestone Air Command II - Analog Gauge w/ Heavy Duty Compressor # F2219 to control the pressure from inside your Chevy's cab via a dual-gauge control panel.
