Troubleshooting Brake Controller Not Working After Replacing Trailer Axles
Question:
My brake controller light came on yesterday I had to put new axles under big country 5th wheel went to test to c if brakes worked the brake controls were working before this test now I can’t get anything service brake light on on my truck now what could be the problem any way to reset it changed fuse did make any different

Since the brake controller light came on only after replacing the axles on your trailer, I recommend making sure that both the power and ground wires coming from each brake assembly have a secure connection. Make sure the ground wire from each assembly is securely attached to a clean, bare metal surface on the trailer. A loose ground may be what is causing the truck's computer system to sense an issue with the trailer wiring.
