Will the Reese Adapter RP30156 Fit a 2018 Ford F-450 Prep Package and 22K Reese Hitch

Will the Reese Adapter RP30156 Fit a 2018 Ford F-450 Prep Package and 22K Reese Hitch. I understand that it is rated for 20,000 lbs. My 5th Wheel GVW is only 18,000 lbs. Will it fit? I am hoping to use my existing 22k hitch.

Yes, the Reese Elite Series Underbed Rail Adapter # RP30156 that you referenced will fit the Prep Package on your 2018 Ford F-450. It provides standard base rail connections that the Reese 22K 5th Wheel Hitch # RP30033 will connect to but you will be limited to the 20K rating of the adapter like you mentioned.
The 2K or leeway that you have is a good amount of cushion but if you even need to tow a 5th wheel that is heavier then that I recommend going with the M5 Series # RP30922 instead. This will fit directly into the puck system on your F-450 and has a weight rating of 27,000 lbs.
Some prep packages come with a 7-Way already installed in the bed. If you don't already have one I also recommend the Bargman # 50-97-410-010 to make connecting and disconnecting your trailer much easier.
