LED Replacement Bulbs to Convert Motorhome Lights

Question:

I have a 2017 Winnebago Sightseer. I was very surprised to see that Winnebago was to cheep to put LED lights on this Coach. My first lights in question are the turn/stop they are Hella 7698 Red and the backups are Hella 23257 white. I could replace just the bulb but I would rather do it right.

You're right that you can convert existing motorhome lights from incandescent or halogen types to efficient LEDs by either changing out the entire light fixture or by simply installing replacement LED "bulbs" of the same type as your current ones.

There really is no down-side to using LED elements like # ARC68FR (white), # ARC78FR (amber), and # ARC88FR (red) for example, which replace the popular type 194 bulb. Installation will be easier than mounting complete new light assemblies and you don't have to worry about the fit or appearance of new complete lights.

If you refer to the page I linked you can see a wide range of LED elements in various colors and types. Just find the number(s) on your existing bulbs and then select that number LED in the color you need.

I suggest applying a light coat of dielectric grease # 11755 on the LED contacts to protect them from corrosion.
